Ed Donohue has 20 years of experience in land use and zoning, with a concentration in applications to telecommunications providers. He has handled many aspects of land use law, with a particular emphasis on tower and antenna issues as applied in the land use arenas and litigation. He is actively involved in land use issues involving a number of wireless carriers and tower companies throughout the greater Washington, D.C. area and in litigation of similar issues, particularly in the federal courts in California. Donohue serves as zoning counsel to the industry trade association PCIA: The Wireless Infrastructure Association, and is actively involved on a number of its committees. Prior to founding Donohue & Blue, Donohue was a partner in the law office of Holland & Knight in Washington, managing the wireless practice group. He also served as a partner with Washington-based Cole, Raywid & Braverman, which specializes in telecommunications and intellectual property law. During his career, he has represented such clients as AT&T Wireless, T-Mobile and Nextel in jurisdictions across the country.
